Algonquin Park is a living link with a vanishing past. At one time, this natural environment covered all of Ontario.

Today, only 7,725 square kilometers remain. Protected since 1893, Algonquin Park is a place of fabulous ecological diversity. Plant and animal species are bountiful.

Our trips have been designed to provide a rich and satisfying nature experience.

The walking trails we have selected are beautiful and accessible. Photography instruction is provided on all trips by professional photographers trained at Canada’s creative OCAD University. Specialists from the Algonquin Park Education Program will lead the groups on some trails.

Photography instruction will cover camera functions and creative functions such as composition. Photographs will be reviewed and critiqued throughout the trip. Of course, not everyone will be interested in the photography component of the trip. If that’s you, just sit back, relax and take in the beauty.
